Home for the Holidays

I had the pleasure of spending the holidays with my wife's lovely family. We drank good beer, played fun games and even had time to watch Home Alone on Christmas. I hope everyone else had as good a holiday as we did. I have thrown together a collection of images I captured during out holiday.

Kinsman Swim

I have had the pleasure of working with Kinsman Swim twice now. Joanna is amazing to work with always on top of her game. Our first shoot was at the lobster wharfs in Portland, ME. Which was amazing, being able to shoot with all the different textures and feels of the wharf gave the images so much feeling. The lobsterman didn't mind us shooting a bikini series much at all. I added a few shots from our first shoot at the end of the gallery. This shoot was the first swim shoot I have done in the dead of winter. I love working with Joanna because she isn't afraid to break the norm, which makes for very interesting shoots. I hope you enjoys these and be sure to check out Kinsman Swims website.

Fan Si Pan Outdoor Co.

A couple friends of mine started this really rad company. Its called Fan Si Pan and they make hand made backpacks for hiking or everyday life that have a lifetime guarantee on their products. I was lucky enough to get an invite to the studio and document the process. These guys have an awesome Instagram account @fansipanoutdoors you should give them a follow. Their products can be purchased in select local business or on their website www.fansipanoutdoors.com. I hope you look into these guys and check out the insanely cool work they do. Remember buy local and support small business.

2014 a year in review Maine (aka we have spots too)

I decided to throw together a collection of the unseen local skate stuff from this year. It was a hell of a year looking back on it; so much skating happened. This isn't everything, but I really hope you enjoy them and want to come skate with us.

Green Mountain State

I grew up in Vermont, the Mad River Valley to be specific. I still think of it as home. This summer I took a trip back with the wife. Here is a collection of images from our trip. I hope you enjoy! if you are there I suggest you visit Warren Falls, American Flat Bread, The Farmers Market, Sugarbush and so many other things. While there we hiked a trail in search of the "Enchanted Forest". It's amazingly beautiful and we happened to stumble into it during the perfect evening light.

OXBOW an american farmhouse brewery

I had the pleasure of getting to work with Oxbow brewing this year. They have a beautiful farmhouse brewery in Newcastle, ME. They also recently opened a second location Oxbow blending & bottling in Portland, ME. I spent a day up at the Newcastle brewery with Tim, Geoff and the whole crew, I got to document the brewing process as well as their first experiment with their recently acquired Coolship {http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Coolship}. I got to learn so much about brewing and their beer. Oxbow makes some of the best beer I have had in my life and to top it off they are a great bunch of people, I insist you try it out. They invited me back to an annual event they have in Newcastle, ME called The Goods From The Woods which was so much fun. I have added some photos from that event in the gallery. On December 14th at the Newcastle, ME brewery they will being hosting An Oxbow Treelighting from noon to 6. I strongly encourage you to go check it out.
